Privacy Policy

Content you submit

Text you paste or content fetched from a URL is sent to the Anthropic API for scoring and immediately discarded. We never store, log, cache, or retain your submitted content. This applies to both text input and URL-fetched content.

What we do store

We store scan metadata only: your overall score, individual dimension scores, input type (text or URL), domain (if URL), word count, and timestamp. This metadata does not include any of your submitted content. If you provide your email address, we store it to manage your daily scan limit.

Rate limiting

We track scan counts by IP address to enforce the daily limit of 3 scans for anonymous users and 8 scans for users who provide an email address. IP-based identifiers are stored in our rate limits table and reset daily.

Email

If you provide your email address, we send a single welcome email via Resend confirming your extended scan limit. We do not send marketing emails, share your email with third parties, or use it for any purpose beyond scan limit management.

Analytics

We use Matomo, a self-hosted analytics platform, to understand how people use the tool. Matomo does not share data with third parties. We collect standard web analytics: page views, referral sources, and general browser information.

Third-party services

• Anthropic API — processes your content for scoring. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Supabase — stores scan metadata and user emails. No content is stored.
• Resend — delivers the welcome email.
